gdri838 : Conference IDE 2016 3-4 nov. 2016 Clermont-Ferrand (France)

Call for papers

The IDE-GDRI network will hold a research workshop every two years, starting this year at the Centre of Studies and Research on International Development (CERDI) in Clermont-Ferrand on November, 3-4, 2016.

Recent decades have witnessed renewed interest in development economics with more and better data at both national and sub-national levels, expanding research agendas (reaching out to other domains that include e.g. political science, history, or epidemiology), and a broad array of approaches, some of which new to the field (e.g. experimental economics).

The International Development Economics (IDE) network brings together European researchers and institutions with partial funding from the French National Center for Scientific Research (CNRS). Network activities cover all aspects of development economics, both macro and micro. All authors working within the field of development economics are welcome to attend the conference and possibly submit a paper for presentation. We encourage young researchers as well as research on innovative topics such as the economics of vulnerability and sustainable growth.

All proposals will be examined by the GDRI’s scientific committee.

Interested researchers should submit a full paper by September 2nd 2016 on the conference website.

Acceptation will be notified on September 15th, 2016.
